Identify > Extended Identification on/off (Extra Menu)

This command can be used to switch the extended on or off.

The extended identification is available if the currently expected user input is an identification of multiple objects or points. Once it is switched on, you can identify and de-identify objects or points until you switch it off again. Afterwards, the identification is regarded as finished, and the current command's execution continues.

Instead of using the extended identification, you can also hold the CTRL key pressed to identify multiple objects successively. Once the CTRL key is released, the identification is ended.
