This plug-in automates the printing or conversion of drawing files as a whole. The complete process can be logged, so that an incorrect printed or converted files can be identified and handled separately.

The Auto-Converter offers four conversion methods:

1.	The first method Print Job / PDF allows to print or convert to PDF respectively all drawing files of an directory with the specified format.

2.	The method File to File converts all files of a source directory with the specified source file type to the destination file format and copies them to the destination folder.

3.	The third conversion methods (File to Library) maps the structure of a source directory to a library. The converted files are stored as blocks in a library. The MKD format and all import formats are supported. The options of the filters can be adjusted as described above.

4.	The fourth method (Library in File) converts blocks of a library to files. For each block an own file are created and saved in according to the library structure. The MKD format and all export formats are supported.

Dependent on the used constellation all options of the filters can be adjusted accustomed from the single file conversion. Please find the declaration of the filter options in the respective help texts.

The Auto-Converter can be used for automated conversion processes. It makes especially sense for the conversion of a great number of files, e.g. with few clicks a directory with several thousand DWG / DXF files can be converted to MKD files overnight. In addition, when creating a print job or a PDF file and when converting from file to file, you can generate an index file for every single process.
