Surface / Curve > Split into Individual Outlines (Trim Menu)

This command can be used to break existing surfaces, curves, and hatchings which contain more than one outline into their individual outlines.

The objects to be broken into their outlines must be chosen. Click on objects to choose them.

The results are several objects which each have one outline only. All objects will contain all of the original object's attributes.

A graphic showing an example follows. The differently-colored hatchings show which areas are regarded as "part of the surface". All other areas are "outside the surface". This closes up any holes.

The areas of the objects which are shown hatched, are hatched or filled when the corresponding object is hatched or filled.
