MKI_NOTIFY_EXT_GET_SHORTTEXT (Plug-In Notification Command) New in Version 2020.2

The plug-in shall return the most important textual content of Ext for display and identification purposes (e.g. comments, names, etc.).

Parameters

Ext

Address of the object whose textual content shall be returned by the plug-in.

Data

Address of a text buffer. The plug-in shall copy the most important text elements contained in the object into that buffer. You may write up to 255 characters, but in most cases, this text will be truncated to 63 characters.

Return Value

MKI_NOTIFY_RESULT_DONE

Ext is known, given task successfully finished.

MKI_NOTIFY_RESULT_UNKNOWN

Ext is not known or task not supported, ask the other plug-ins.
