"Coordinate Systems" Dialog

How can I access information on this dialog?

The following commands are available by right-clicking into the coordinate system list:

Edit

Calls the "Edit Coordinate System" dialog in which the settings of the all items selected in the list can be changed.

New

Defines a new coordinate system. A dialog appears in which the name of the new coordinate system is entered. The new coordinate system initially uses the same coordinate system settings as the right-clicked item.

Rename

Calls a dialog in which the name of the right-clicked coordinate system can be edited. The name of the "*Standard" coordinate system cannot be changed.

Activate

Activates the right-clicked coordinate system without closing the dialog.

Delete

Deletes the selected coordinate systems. This action has to be confirmed. The "*Standard" coordinate system cannot be deleted.

Clean Up

Allows to delete or mark all currently unused coordinate systems.

Update Usage Counts

Updates the usage count for all coordinate systems and displays it next to the coordinate systems' names in the list.

Intermediate Storing

These functions allows you to store several sets of coordinate systems including all of their settings and access them at a later time, even from within different drawings.

Pinboard and collections are managed globally by the main application. They can contain a mixture of completely different items. The pinboard in local to the respective computer and contains unnamed items that are sorted by their storage time. A collection, however, contains named items and is, like libraries, stored in a single file (extension *.mkcol) that can be accessed by multiple users concurrently via network.

Pin to Pinboard

Saves selected coordinate systems on the pinboard as a set of coordinate systems, storing them for later use. A dialog will allow individual coordinate system selection.

Get from Pinboard

Enables you to get a set of coordinate systems from the pinboard. A dialog will allow individual coordinate system selection and choice of import mode (replace, merge, add).

Save to Collection

Saves selected coordinate systems in a collections as a set of coordinate systems, storing them for later use. A dialog will allow individual coordinate system selection.

Get from Collection

Enables you to get a set of coordinate systems from a collection. A dialog will allow individual coordinate system selection and choice of import mode (replace, merge, add).

Manage Collections

Allows managing all sets of coordinate systems stored in collections (delete, rename, edit comment).
