Identify > Identify Area, Polygon (Extra Menu)

This command can be used to select all objects in a polygonal area of the drawing.

The start point of the polygon can be entered by clicking the mouse anywhere in the drawing.

After entering the start point, more points can be entered. The polygon begins at the start point, runs through all the subsequently-entered points and ends at the start point. These points can be entered by clicking the mouse anywhere in the drawing.

Once all desired points have been entered (at least one), press the right mouse button to finish the command. If the Workflow Manager is active and appears, choose Finish Command in it.

A polygon can have up to 1000 segments. If this limit is reached during entry, then further point entry is not allowed.
